Brazil is my native country. I was born in 1976 in a city very much like
New York called Sao Paulo. I lived there for seventeen years before I moved
to France. Ever since I was a child, I have wanted to become a doctor. As a
child, I always wondered about the human brain, anatomy, and how every little
part of the human body worked. When I completed seventeen years old, I moved
to Grenoble, France. Brazil is a very special place to me. When I was living
there, I learned that compassion holds together the millions of people from
different ethnic background, religion, and economical status that live in
Brazil.
I decided to attend college in France to enrich my education and help me
to achieve my goal of becoming a doctor. Also, as a natural human instinct, I
seeked for new experiences out side of my native country. La vie en France
etait formidable. Europe and specially France awakened the resting notion of
world history that I had within myself. France was like pages of a history
book turning into three dimensional figures and becoming alive again. C’etait
vraimant fantastic! It was also in France that I encountered one of my main
inspirations for life, Felippe Rozentzvaig. After living in France and
Perugia, Italy, I moved to the United States to live with Felippe.
After studying in Europe for a year, I learned that one of my favorite
hobbies is to learn a new language. I can learn languages quite fast and enjoy
it very much. I also enjoy any science class, specially chemistry.
Three years ago, I came to this country and started to learn English. I
have been living in Gainesville, Florida since I arrived. I will graduate from
Santa Fe Community College in the summer of 1998. After, I plan to transfer to
the University of Florida to continue my studies and dedicate my professional
life to the studies of the human body and mind.
