My name is Elise Sistrunk. This is my last semester at Santa Fe, and I am transferring to UF in the spring. I am majoring in--none other than journalism. However, I do not plan to be the next Barbara Walters. I want to edit books. The media and ethics class has been quite an experience for me. I have learned so much about media in general, but television is particularly fascinating. I see TV shows and the news through different eyes. Have you ever noticed how much violence is on the evening news? It's amazing. Advertising is another subject we have studied in this class. I have strong feelings about this, and one of my journal entries reflects my opinions.
